• I'LL FIGHT FOR YOUR BUSINESS

Micro, small and even large businesses are struggling. I represent a strong voice for business and for business owners with over a decade working in policy to remove red tape and get businesses operating profitably again.

I align with the values of a free enterprise party believing that a strong economy with thriving businesses is the key to unlock prosperity for everyone. When businesses are thriving, everyone is thriving.

There are many ways we can help cut red tape, help businesses thrive. I can advocate for what you need. I am your voice, I am your army!

  • I'LL FIGHT FOR AFFORDABILITY

I will fight for elimination of income tax for every earner up to $50,000 putting up to $4,100 back in a dual income earning family.

I will fight to remove the provincial fuel tax. Saving you 15 cents/litre on gasoline. That’s about $30 savings each time you gas up. We will axe PST on used cars up to $20,000.

I will fight for providing direct financial subsidies to parents ensuring that child care costs are capped at $10/day. I will fight to provide tax credits for care by grandparents.

  • I'LL FIGHT FOR HOUSING

I will fight to establish a rent-to-own program, allowing renters to put 3 years rent payments towards a down payment on their first home.

I will fight to eliminate the property transfer tax on homes up to $1 million for first-time buyers.

I will fight to eliminate the PST on residential construction.

  • I'LL FIGHT FOR OUR MOST VULNERABLE

    Affordable and accessible treatment:

WE NEED TO Eliminate user fees at publicly funded addiction treatment beds and provide direct government funding for private beds through surge capacity agreements to ensure no-one faces financial barriers to treatment.

    Treatment on demand:

WE NEED TO Create a virtual opioid dependency program to ensure immediate access to lifesaving medications like suboxone or methadone for those who don’t have a doctor and can’t get into a walk-in clinic.

    Comprehensive care:

WE NEED TO Build on the model of the Single Parent Employment Initiative, support those struggling with addiction with residential treatment, counselling and job training for one year.

  • I'LL FIGHT FOR TRANSPARENCY & ACCOUNTABILITY

Government Accountability and Transparency: I will fight for increased transparency and changes to how government decisions are made and communicated.

I will fight for freedom of information, not redacted information.

I will fight for freedom of speech but not hate speech.

  • I'LL DEFEND PERSONAL CHOICE

Freedom of choice is a fundamental principle that underpins individual autonomy and democracy.

It allows people to make decisions according to their own values, preferences, and beliefs, free from undue interference.

This freedom empowers individuals to shape their own lives, pursue their own paths, and take responsibility for their actions.

In a democratic society, respecting freedom of choice ensures that diverse perspectives are valued and that people have the opportunity to contribute to the collective decision-making process. Upholding this principle is essential for fostering personal empowerment, innovation, and a vibrant, pluralistic community.

  • I'LL FIGHT FOR HEALTHCARE

Healthcare reform is beyond urgent, from the emergency room floor to patient surgeries and cancer care.

By tackling issues such as access to private care while we eliminate the backlog, reform aims to ensure that every individual receives timely and effective medical services.

The goal is to build a healthcare system that not only provides comprehensive services across all areas but also promotes preventive care and supports the overall well-being of the population.

KGH needs a strong advocate. What better than someone who is in the riding?

  • I'LL FIGHT FOR NEW CREATIVE ECONOMIES

Supporting the Okanagan's animation, film, and digital sectors is crucial for fostering economic growth and creative innovation in the region.

These industries not only create high-quality content but also drive local job creation and attract investment.

By investing in infrastructure, offering incentives, and promoting collaboration between businesses and educational institutions, we can strengthen the Okanagan's position as a hub for digital arts and media.

This support will help cultivate a vibrant creative community, enhance regional cultural offerings, and position the Okanagan as a leader in the global entertainment and technology markets.

Investing in these sectors is an investment in the region’s future prosperity and cultural richness.
